The board of IFHOH is pleased to announce the creation of a new position: HUMAN RIGHTS OFFICER FOCUSED ON ISSUES FOR HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE
The Human Rights Officer will support IFHOH and its members in its human rights work and to represent the needs and views of hard of hearing persons through the CRPD and other UN instruments.
This is primarily a volunteer position with training opportunities and expenses covered. It is anticipated that the person would attend a training session April 15-19, 2013 in Geneva and be able to arrive for the session on April 13. The position is expected to be carried out on a part-time basis until December 2014, with a possibility of renewal.
